Default Remving the Tranny

All the bolts are out and the T.O bearing shift fork is out but the tranny does not want to come out> It feels like it is spring loaded because when i try to pull it out it goes back into its place. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

You are missing something, it will come out with everything disconnected. You did disconnect the steering coupler and lower the front subframe aprox. 4"?

Count the upper and lower transmission bolts, eight in all. It just takes one to hold it on.

Good point, the upper starter bolt threads into the bellhousing. No need to remove the starter or the lower starter bolt, but the upper must be removed.
