Replacement batteries
Don't get me started on this one....Had mine replaced with 2000 miles on the ODO with an OEM battery...the battery still has trouble holding a charge if setting more than a week. Between that and my fourth trip for a SRS light problem...Honda is one last fix from buying back my 2001. Guess I wouldn't mind a glass rear window anyway. Good thing is that I get a field tech coming direct from American Honda to work on the car. Hopefully this guy knows what he is doing.
My dealers stance on this issue: total denial that there is anything wrong. I had the same problem with my wife's civic.

KaCee - Sorry to hear of your trouble. I asume that you (or Honda) checked to make sure there isn't excessive drain on the battery when sitting in the car with all accessories off. Do you have any aftermarket alarm or stereo equipment installed?

No, I did not have to buy a special bracket, just take the stock battery cable and peel away or bend back and forth until it breaks 1/2 of the terminal loop the stock the bolt fit through.
Then just screw the cable down with the screw that comes on the 680 battery. You do not have to buy anything until you decide to put the stock battery back in the car, then you have to buy a new battery cables.
The 680 fits in the stock battery tray and you use the same tie down Or you can get rid of it altogether and save more weight. I now use a back packers nylon strap to hold my battery in and it works fine.
