Thanks Vteconly, that is at idle correct? At least for me, idle is not the concern. I hear nothing "abnormal" at idle, just in a certain part of the RPM band. I have tried to record it, but honestly its very difficult as we are not talking about a loud sound.

 

i believe it's the header heatshield you are talking about. After taking the top one out i dont hear that rattle at 4krpm anymore.

I still have to take the bottom one out, however.

 

Any chance you can be a little more specific? You had my same ticking noise I described earlier in this thread? I really don't remember the noise being there for the first few weeks I had the car, but I hear it on a daily basis now. It is VERY hard to get others to hear it though. I figure it either started a few weeks ago, or my ears just noticed it a few weeks ago and now I always listen for it.
