i tried to do the DIY as it shows in the FAQ, but no luck. anyone know how to reset the indicator back to 100% oil life? i also tried clearing the DCT's woth my hondata flshpro and still no luck. any advice would help, thanks

 

press the trip button until it shows the oil life%. now after you have it showing the oil life% press and hold the trip button till the oil life starts flashing. once its flashing, let go of the trip button then press and hold it again and continue to hold it till it shows 100% oil life. that's all there is to it.

 

Its true dat. I hold it down for 40-60 sec and it finally works. The faq has all sort of other things that don't matter in the later cars, hold it till your finger hurts.
