Default Reusing cracked shifter pivot ball

I was taking apart my shifter to re-grease it with Honda's oem high temp grease and found that the pivot ball had cracked. This is a fairly new part, about 3 months old at most. It probably cracked due to the non-oem grease I used (story for another day). I was wondering if it would be okay to use the cracked ball for a week or so while the new one comes in.

Thanks

I ordered mine on Amazon. Came in 2 days...and it was cheaper than ordering at a online dealer.

Search the part number.

But yes. You will be fine.
