Here's the question for you then... How much do you think it will hold? Or is there really no way to tell.. Just drive it till you break it?

Rick's gear is the same as J's gear prior to cryo. Is this true?

I have no idea. I am hoping it is enough to handle the power the car is making and the rigors of running on the track.

I am very close to ordering these gears. I am just waiting to ride in/drive a car to see the difference. Is the cryo treatment really going to increase the life of these gears? I only have experience with cryo treating brake rotors. I realize the rotors take much more abuse and are indeed a wear item, but the cryo treatment didn't make them last any longer. How will it make the gears stronger? I am NA (for now) and would like to justify freezing the gears.

don't waste your money. change correct fluid and drive with mechanical sympathy......more people don't break them than do break them. what does cryo cost?

Nope. It was a single tooth that was broken off on the ring gear.
