Thumbs up right fornt higher than left front

a while back, i was going a round a corner and my car understeered and i hit the curb. i bent both upper and lower control arms and the shock and i also broke the knuckle. well anyways, i had to replace the whole knee but the spring, it was untouched. we put everything back together and notice that the right front passenger is higher than the driver side. well i did not think too much of it at the time. well it has been about 2 months now, and now i am thinking about it. the passenger side is 4 easy finger gap and the driver side is 3 finger gap. i thought it was the spring but the spring has been on my car forever, and i didnt think i would have to pre-load the spring.

anyone know why?

I'm no expert but i think you to have to preload the suspension even if the spring has been on forever. Try preloading the suspension on that corner. If that dosen't work you might check the swaybar endlinks and the swaybar itself to make sure nothing is bent.
