Default Rockblocker hollow?

I'm going to be running some wires through the rockblocker (under the doors, that lower panel) and if I run wires into it, how would I get them out. Is there an opening where the fender meets the door / rockblocker or should I just run the wires without going through the rockblocker?

Most call that a Rocker panel, not a rockblocker.

The Electronics forum has a wire routing thread stickied at the top of the forum. What kinf of wiring are you trying to route?

I'll be doing some courtesy lights underneath the car and I want to see if I can drill into the rocker panel and run a wire through it and from there through the fender and to the engine. I'd rather have them hidden then exposed to the elements and debris
