Default Rough shifting on my 05

My 05 has 22K on it and has shifted roughly since day one. Honda says it is a normal operation and not to worry. I dont worry but I hate the transmission. Is everyone being told this by Honda?

Mine's an 01, it's notchy when cold, but shifts like butter once warmed up. Have someone else drive it. Get his/her input.

Two honda dealers told me that this is normal on my 05 (23k miles now).

2nd gear doesn't pop out at high rpm, does it?

Changing transmission fluid helps a little, but doesn't get rid of everything. The updated Honda OEM fluid is a sure bet.

I changed my trans fluid with GM Synchromesh FM and it is smooth even when cold now. My 04 was always notchy with Honda OEM.

I would say change the fluid every 5k miles, keeps the tranny feeling as good as it can be. I used the new fluid last time and it made the feel alot better. Also don't forget the rear diff, i would do that every 5k as well to keep things happy.
