For those who have had a problem with the idle rpm dropping and engine shudder before returning back to normal idle.

I have had a problem with my idle for some time and checked and cleaned just about everything, to no avail. Today I swapped out my knock sensor for a £10 one off ebay. Problem sorted. Also when
I switch off my engine-it stops dead now. Before it seemed as if it was suffering from pre ignition and there was a shudder. How pleased I am!

Now if I can only stop the inlet tract from making that humming noise I will be able to sleep properly again.
