Hey Guys This is my first post here .. Just got my first S2000 about 2 weeks ago and really , dont know much about these cars at all, the problem im having is when i really get on it and try to speed shift the car is pretty much locking at whatever RPM i shift at.. ONLY Shifting UP.. Never on a Gear Drop, Also it Doesnt Happen if i Really Granny Shift And Fully Let of Throttle And/or Clutch Completly? Is This Normal Or Am i Not Doing Something Right? Never Drove a S2000 or any Vtec Before i Bought This Car.. Please Lmk Guys Love To Here Some Opinions..

speed shifting this car is a very good way to destroy the transmission...stop driving it like a jackass

Above is unnecessarily harsh, but basically correct. AP2's in particular are known to require a little extra patience especially when shifting from redline.

But in general, if you are not letting off throttle 100% for at least a brief moment between gears, in any car - well, I hope it's not my car.

Ive noticed the 1-2 shift does take a bit getting used to, but the other gears should not be locking you out. I'd check all your fluids before you go too crazy on it
