I just got off the phone with my service writer about my alignment. He says that they cannot input any specs other than the Honda US spec without voiding out my warranty. That's a bunch of crap. I asked them "whay can't you align it to the UK spec?"... He just says nope. Guess I'll be shopping around for a different Honda dealer.

The steering felt different as well after I got the Spoon wheels with their lower offsets. I now notice that the inside half of the tires show more wear than the outer, though I have put on much more highway miles than the twisties recently. I'll try to find what my car's settings are currently before I decide on new settings.
I am running with SSR comp 18's and from the second I pulled out of the driveway things felt different. It's now 10,000 mile slater and going for an alignment. The passenger rear wears bad and more on the inside. As did the Orig. S02's.

Doe's anyone have a good idea of the proper specs for a stock height 2001 model with SSR Comp 18's ???

Might be worth posting these results to the alignment reference thread so the information won't get lost over time. Interestingly, the UK mags -- including Evo, which has become my favorite read -- constantly carped about the handling of the S2K but have become a lot more forgiving since the alignment specs were changed. I just had mine done recently, and it makes a big difference in the handling:

BEFORE
FRONT LEFT RIGHT
Toe 0.06 -0.25
Caster 5.50 5.70
Camber -0.50 -0.40

REAR LEFT RIGHT
Toe 0.20 0.38
Camber -1.50 -1.40

AFTER
FRONT LEFT RIGHT
Toe -0.02 -0.01
Caster 5.60 6.10
Camber -1.50 -1.50

REAR LEFT RIGHT
Toe 0.01 0.00
Camber -2.00 -2.20

HAMS: find another Honda dealer! I had a similar problem with regard to the installation of the Mugen cooling parts -- one dealer refused to install the parts after concluding it would change the emissions character of the engine exhaust and would thus be illegal. Ten minutes later, I was at another dealer who did the install -- and offered to redo my alignment for the track. Some dealers are just difficult.

That is normal, even with a good alignment. This is caused by the negative camber. You didn't get 23K on your ORIGINAL tires, did you? If so, that is AWESOME! That is 3 times the miles I got out of my original rears, and about 10K more than I got out of my original fronts.

Mine were done at 10K and 15K, no track (at the time). Got to come out the track one of these days. Of the events I've done, not one over $200, less than 40 cars all day, and people willing to teach for a ride .

I'm getting my alignment gone tomorrow and was wondering why some people have .2deg difference between L/R camber and caster and some keep L/R figures the same. Is this because of the constant weight of the driver on the left side? Does and extra 200 lb. (I'm Fat) effect alignment on the left side? If so what is the rule of thumb to go by for this adjustment?

Alignment I want:

Front
Camber Left -1.0
