Default s2000 Ballast

I'm in need of a new ballast and I was wondering if there is anyway to check in person if the used OEM ballast your purchasing is in working condition.

Thanks in advance

Go to the junk yard. Snip off a plug from a civic/integra reverse switch. You need the female side.

It plugs into the ballast. Connect the ballast to a headlight make sure the grounding straps are connected also. It's best to do this with a headlight housing.

Ballast wiring:
White is positive. Black is negative.

Connect it to a battery. Ground first. Then power. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE THE POLARITY REVERSED OR YOU WILL BLOW THE BALLAST. I have done this. You do not want this.

FYI, I have a working AP1 ballast for sale. Have pics. LMK.
