Default S2000 brake change to brembo (DC5)

Hi, i am going to attempt to fit the brembo's from DC5 to S2k. I have been given advice and now i need your opinions. Apparently the Brembo caliper bolts straight onto the original caliper mount. then what i need to do is fit a 7.5mm spacer behind the brake disc. job done. then to get the wheel back on and the caliper connected i need to get longer wheels lug extentions and brake hoses from a honda civic. has anyone tried this ???

would really appreciate your response as i am very eager to get the brakes fitted and get the car on track!

thanks!

i found the answer and they dont fit that easy. caliper will bolt on but the wheel wont go back on unless i get new wheels with big offset plus a spacer which would mess up the handling characteristics too much so not going to attempt it. Now looking for alternative brake upgrade!

not true.... the 7.5mm spacers behind the rotor i told you about + 15mm for the wheel to clear + some 60offset= -15 offset from stock says the Hunter Alignment machine. if you are running stock wheels now, yes it will change handling characteristics, but if you run aftermarket, put this set up on and run on stock ap2 front wheel, you will most likely not feel any difference

ohhh... and if you have the DC5 rotor, what you can do is bore out the center bore to s2000 size then you wont be needing the 7.5mm spacers behind it...
