Default s2000 clutch....

okay guys my01 s2000 has clutch replaced all is well shifts great drives great but i get a notchy grinding sandpaper feel on the way up on the clutch engagement..... first off i did alot of research before i just start making threads here is what i have tried....

new slave cylinder....
greased slave cylinder....
greased clutch fork....
was missing the cylinder cover went and replaced it.
greased inside the car the clutch pedal springs itself....

the problems comes and goes it isnt unbareable just something on my mind i bout the car few months back said to have replaced the clutch it does feel like its replaced (no slippage at all hits every gear hard.... but normal driving is the notchy feeling.... so im thinking its the clutch..... or PP? what u guys think?

Try removing the fork pin that connects to your slave cylinder from under the gearbox. It's got a ball joint thingy on the end that should be "smooth" and "greased". If not, get some light weight sand paper and sand off the nipple that may have formed over the years then re-install (apply grease where everything joins/move) accordingly.

If you search it i'm sure you'll find the DIY somewhere. But this is what I did, and it worked a treat.

Peace.

I have the same problem. A former S2000 owner told me the shop may have not bled the fluid correctly and might be air bubbles? I don't know thuogh. I also did the same things you did.
