Yes, the 15400-PCX-004 oil filter is the one you want.

I run Wix filters in all my cars.

My 03S takes the #51334.

I have been using a cheap Fram filter in my 92 Accord for as long as I can remember. It now has 280k miles on it and still runs very well. However, a F22A engine will probably run with no filter on it.

The PCX is the right filter, mainly because of the higher volume and the better pressure strength. The old Japanese pcx was a demonstrably better filter, but Filtech won the bid apparently. I like and used the M1 but startup noise made me consider that the drainback was not as good as the filtech.

Keep in mind that only Honda spec filters are guaranteed not to spin off at the track, since they use a metal to metal contact. Read up and you will see...

Filters are like oil. Use garbage but be careful and it CAN work, otherwise the safer bet is the engineering spec.

2) As described here, the Toyo Roki filter appears to be identical to the HAMP filter.
Link appears to be broken. Great source of info overall!

Just bought the PCX from my local dealer yesterday and found that Honda almost doubled the price since last change. I used to buy it for about 8.50 its now 14.50. I'm in Canada. Have U.S dealers done this as well? No big deal just curious.
