Default S2000 Starter removal/replacement

I've just developed the cold Bendix sticking issue with my starter (after a cold start, the bendix doesn't disengage and you get that horrid shriek for just a second).

Can anyone post any info that would help with the removal of the starter? Like where the heck it is for starters (sorry, pun not intended). I'd like to try greasing things up before I replace the whole mess or bring it to a tech.

Thanks for any help.

The starter is on the driver's side of the motor below the intake manifold and behind the alternator. The shop manual says to take the belt tensioner and alternator off in order to take it off.
