car started this morning, when i got to school i shut it off and tried to start it again, wouldn't start.
does it crank at all? Can you hear the starter solenoid actuating? Check the little signal wire on the starter, it is a spade connector and sometimes they can get pulled off, the wire loom is really tight there.
gona check it out

Can you push start it?
Is it even possible to push start an S2000? If it is, then same question if the battery is dead!
With fuel injection and a dead battery, the pump won't be pressurized.
i just jump started mine in reverse this morn : )

im gona pull the starter sometime soon just so busy with school. the starter is oem honda and has less then 50k miles on it. seems odd to go bad so soon. checked all wires goin to starter every single relay and fuse clutch start switch etc. no idea what it is. I'm more of a mechanical type gear head then electrical things.. anyhow im familiar with bad starters and although i know how elusive they can be for some reason i feel like it is somthn else. i swapped start switch buttons with a freinds s2000 as well as batteries and still the same issue. so ive eliminated those aspects

Got something weird for you guys, had the same issue with my car where now its not starting (new starter less than six months old) BUT it starts if its in gear ONLY! Then after it starts then its normal until i turn it off and let it sit again.......

Isnt that weird though, only starting if its in gear, I usually start with no clutch (bypass the interlock switch) and in nuetral, but now it can only start if its in gear
Im hoping its just some wiring crap on the starter
