You said your battery is good, How old is the battery ? My S would behalf weird on start-up , it start sometimes, sometimes not, leave it untouch for may be half an hour. The car will start again. Replaced the battery and everything's good.

Although that's just my experience, you might have a physical/electrical issue.

 

 

I'm having the same problem to. Except if I hold the start button down am move the gear shift really fast min will start. Check all wires and they are good.

 

same here changed button checked fuses ju.ped the starter wire and starts right up

 

Any update on this mine is having the same issue changed buttons checked fuses eliminated clutch switch..and i hooked speaker wire to starter wire with a toggle fired right up im lost here just want my damn start button back running a toggle switch sucks

 

Writing for a friend. 2003 S2000 40k miles like brand new. Won’t start. When you press engine start nothing. No click sound. Nothing. Battery good. Ideas? Radio works. Lights work. AC fan works. Everything works. Sat for 2-3 weeks. Trying to help him but not sure. Fully charged battery.

Even in my own car which is a 2002 29k miles, if the battery is ever low, or near dead, it will click when you press engine start. His does nothing with full juice battery. I don’t think it’s a mouse but looking for easy suggestions to try? He’s away and I have the keys to his house and trying to help.

 

A little jiggle of the clutch switch and also jiggled the battery terminals, and it fixed it!
