A grounding kit won't do squat unless you also use one of these:
I read part way through the thread, go and find a picture of a turbinator, come back, finish reading the thread and BAM. You beat me to it.

Yeah, you don't really need a grounding kit unless you have reason to think that your grounds may be inadequate. I benefited from one (homemade) but only because I had a massive sound system ... I got rid of the system and the "grounding kit" at the same time, and I noticed no appreciable loss in power, mileage, etc.
I can't speak for the stock stereo thing though, that kind of makes sense to me as long as you ground it correctly -- I would assume most people who buy those kits wouldn't do a proper job of grounding the audio system.

omg.. im so sorrry i didnt do a search before. i found an article in importuner where they got power out of it after dynoing, but through my research on S2ki, they even discussed that, saying theres error in dynoing etc. all in all, search really is your friend and u guys are awesome for helping me out, thanks.
i'll jus invest the money i was gonna spend on that into saving up for something which actually makes power

I'm not picking on the beer, just 40 year old british electrics
Our electrics work about as well as our car industry
But the beer's great.
