Default Saving another S2K from the scrapper!

Linky

Progress today:

Changed the Air Filter to K&N Drop In.

Bled the coolant with distilled water and then Honda Type 2 at 60% Water 38% Coolant and a few ounces of water wetter.

Bled the Brakes with Castrol LMA. At 509 Dry it's pretty good fluid for its price!

Changed the diff fluid to Amsoil 75W-140. With better cold flow and better high temp protection, it's win win! Shear stability of this multiweight shouldn't be a problem with the high quality synthetic formulation.

I feel so special for popping the car's maintenance cherry at 14K miles!

Next up a mix of Amsoil 10W-30 and 10W-40 motor oil and Amsoil MTF will be going in.

Oh yes and of course new rotors and Carbotech pads before the track day

Nice progress. You should update this thread with pics instead of linking it.

what did you pick the shell up for and what do you expect it will be total out of pocket cost once everything is said and done?
