Default Seam Foam

So I decided to try some Sea Foam today and man it worked great. I put about 2/3 of the can into a full tank of gas and sucked the other 1/3 through the PCV valve. I was kinda worried at first after reading about other people sucking up too much and bending rods and such, but it worked fine. You gotta suck it in REALLY slow otherwise the engine boggs and I can see how it would die and get messed up. After I let it sit for 5 minutes I started it up and it smoked a bit, not a ton. I wanted to drive it but when I got in it and tried the engine was slow and way bogged down so I just let it idle for a while. I blipped the throttle every once in a while until I could tell it was all burned off. I then took it around the block and it runs way good now.

I can tell it idles better and definetly revs up and down smoother. My exhaust even sounds a little crisper and cleaner! Also, it seems to have reducedmy tranny whine (atleast thats what I thought the noise was) when i let off the gas.

So far so good with the Sea Foam I will definatleyt keep using this stuff it really seems to make the far run much better.

FYI: I was to scared to pour it into my oil so I might try that next time.

running it through the pcv could foul your plugs, might want to check them

I used it on my wife's CRV (02 88,000 miles). Used 3/4 in the tank and 1/4 through the vacuum line going to the brake booster (someone recommended using this line). Got some smoke through the tailpipe so I assumed it did something, but honestly, I couldn't feel much of a difference.
I ended up trying it again on my 03 CBR 954. Put a 1/4 in the oil and 1/4 in the gas tank. Used the rest in another cars tank. I noticed the trans on the bike felt really good. Not much of a difference in engine performance. I ended up changing the oil very soon after I poured the seafoam in. Actually felt better with the seafoam in the oil, but won't risk running it more than a few miles.

someone i know used this in their car, and the end result was decent, but once it has burned out of the engine you should really check the spark plugs and if you put it into the oil, you should change that. i also heard that B-52(i think is what its called) does the same thing but with no smoke
