Hello,

I live in CALIFORNIA and have a 2007 S2000 with ~28500 miles. I got a Check engine light at about 28,000 miles. The only memorable event i remember before the light came on is that my s2k's front passenger side wheel fell into a deep pothole which bottomed the right front of car.

I got the code from Autozone it read P0139 "O2 sensor CKT slow response (bank 1 sensor 2)"

So basically the response time for the secondary o2 sensor is slow.

I don't believe that the pothole can damage the o2 sensor (but it's possible).


If the secondary o2 sensor is bad will Honda cover it under warranty?
Any suggestions?

Take it to a dealer, it's still under warranty. Don't clear the CEL
