Security--LoJack, window etching, alarm?
With the S2000 being a desirable car is Lo Jack worth the money? Window etching may deter the pro thief? Had alarms before, they don't seem to be much of a deterrent.
Any thoughts, experiences?

get the unbrakeable antitheft device.
its from www.unbrakeable.com as far as i know it seems to work pretty good. havent heard any stories so far of it being broken off or anything. also window etching is possibly a good idea, but dont get raped on the charge to have this done. my friend that used to work at a dealership said it costs like 10 dollars to do an entire car but dealerships charge anywhere from 100 to 600 dollars for this.

Here's my vitriolic rant against aftermarket alarms.

The shorter, calmer
version is: A minimally-invasive system (like the OEM alarm, window etching, or even a fake blinking LED) is enough to scare off hooligans who want to heist it on an impulse...and if they aren't scared off, the immobilizer should stop them. BUT if a sophisticated thief really wants the car, he'll get it, one way or another. In that case, if you want it back, get LoJack.
Cheers!
