Default Seriously Stupid question

I have broken suspension front and rear on one side and that side sits like 1 inch off the ground. How would i go about jacking it up without use of a lift?

jack up the rear subframe on the side that isnt low. then both sides should lift. then use another jack or put blocks under the wheel of the lower side and jack up the rear side of the low side and if you jack it up enough the front will also lift up.
if the car drives then just lay down a bunch of 2X4 in the shape of steps and drive up them.
