I use OEM pads, and yes I know they're crap for the track really. Especially since I've tried my friend's S2K with upgraded rotors and pads on the track and there's a world of difference in bite and brake fade.

yup, I took that precaution. I never use my handbrakes on a trackday. Ok then I'll have my rotors/brakes checked. come to think of it, it may be coming from the front brakes because of the brake bias. I was a bit worried since coming from the front I thought it might be the engine or something.
