Default shaking when hard braking

I've noticed when after a few hard laps on the track when I do some late braking there's some noticable shaking seemingly from the engine. Is this normal? This sure never happened with my S14. Appreciate some input, thanks guys!

check your brake pads or drums.

Drums? WTF?

Anyway, shaking under hard braking is most likely a sign of problems with the rotors. Try swapping the rotors out and see if the problem goes away.

Also, what brake pads are you using?

Possibly melted pad material to rotor? If so have your rotors turned if they are still within spec.

When you experience the shaking, do you feel vibrations in the brake pedal?

could be alot of thing.

it could be your pad is cracked from the heavy braking

it could be your caliper is moving/flexing

it coule be your just had some brake fade and the car is struggling to get even distribution of brake torque
