the shifter does not push down to go in reverse?

Default the shifter does not push down to go in reverse?

Hi guys i needed some help

I just bought my 03 and you know how you normally push down to release the lock to go into reverse. Mine you can not push down but when i pull up the it locks up so i cant go into reverse. I was wondering how i can fix that issue?

U have to pull the shifter out and inspect the spring. Its probably worn out.

Follow this DIY to remove the shifter assembly, than look at what seems broken and go at Honda to buy the required parts.
