I just had my competition stage 3 clutch and flywheel installed and the place that did the install broke the small bushing on the end of the shifter rod that enters into the transmission. I found the part on hondaautomotiveparts.com which looked to be the pivot cover. They emailed me back saying that part is discountinued. Does anyone know where to get the small bushing/cover at the end of the shifter assembly so I can shift normal again. Thanks.

No way its discontinued. Legally, they have to MFG replacement parts for the car for 10yrs

 

Hondaautomotiveparts.com emailed me back. I had placed the order then got a email response saying my money will be refunded and the 1.66 pivot cover that I need is discontinued. Without that piece my shifter is so sloppy and can barely get into reverse.

 

Any Honda dealer should be able to order it in.
Don't forget to warm the bushing up in hot water (dry it too) before popping it on.
