If the fluid is nearly new and the system was bled properly I'm guessing pressure plate.
what about the pressure plate?

If you haven't changed the transmission oil lately, fresh oil may help.

It would help if I could drive the car.

So you've got fresh transmission oil, fresh clutch fluid, and the clutch system has been properly blead. Is that correct?

Does the clutch engage and disengage at the normal point (about half way through the pedal stroke)?

That it's no longer doing it's job properly for some reason.

But perhaps some additional diagnostics are in order. Have you noticed a change in the pedal travel or engagement point of the clutch as Red MX5 asked?

Another easy test to try is to row through the gears with the engine off and the clutch in, then row through them again with the engine off clutch out. Then start the car and row through them again with the clutch in.

If the tranny shifts smoothly in all three cases you most likely have a clutch rather than a transmission problem.

I do not know whether the clutch was properly bleed..... I know the clutch fluid was changed.

I will try what RedMX5 mentioned.

Thanks again.

I just run through the gears with the engine off and clutch pressed and everything is smooth. I then let the clutch out and ran through the gears and it seems not as smooth.

Last, I start the engine and ran through the gears with the clutch pressed and everything is smooth.

Also, I put the car in first gear with the clutch pressed and the car does not seem to move forward.

Thanks again for all your input.
