Default shimmy when on/off the throttle

Hey guys I was hoping someone could help me with my problem Im having with my 2000 s2k I just bought.

When I test drove it, I noticed that as soon as I got on the gas hard or off the gas the car would shimmy to the left or right...pretty bad too. But then I noticed it has a 225/50 on the left wheel and a 225/55 on the right. I figured that this could be the problem. So I bought the car, drove it home, took one wheel off and went to the tire shop and got a 225/55 on it. Now I have two of the same size tires in rear and two of the same size in front. This shimmy seems to be almost completely gone at lower speeds. But on highway speeds I can feel it jerks left when I accelerate and it jerks right when I let off. I just got my car aligned today as well.

Someone please give me some peace of mind! haha Has anybody else had this problem??? Could my diff be going bad from being driven with 2 wrong sized tires. Or could this be caused by the fact that I have 2 different brands of 225/55's on my rears?

So basically...anytime I come off the accelerator, the car dips to the right. Im hoping somebody has seen something like this before. Thanks guys!

Dustin

okay so i switched my rear left wheel with my rear right. it pulled 10x worse when i got off the gas. looks like it has to be the difference in the two tires. Ill be sure to post back when i get 2 new rear tires. Thanks guys!
