Shock leaking
hi guys,
i went to panelwork to do regularly minor service. I noticed that there is friction noise from the back.
The guy from workshop told me that thaere is oil leaking on my rear shock.
Is it very dangerous if i do not replace it now? cause i'm kinda short of money.
cheers

Drive safe man...I've been in an accident because a blown shock was not dampening correctly making that one corner bounce like crazy and lose control. Keept it slow and sane until you can get it replaced.

I disagree - if your shock is leaking oil, it is not "fine". It means that there is a leak in what is supposed to be a sealed system. The usual symptom is a loss in suspension damping and that can lead to handling problems, especially if the problem is only on one side of the car. If I were you, I'd look for a pair of used shocks in good condition and replace them.
