Default shuddering

Sup guys, I have a act clutch and toda flywheel installed on my car. When im moving slowly like say creeping up into a parking spot or reversing, when i push the clutch back in sumtimes the car will shudder and the rpm will drop to like 2 bars but in a second or two adjust back, the whole car shakes though. Is this a problem?

Sounds normal, due to temp change. It will be amplified by your lightweight flywheel, as the engine now has less inertia to overcome this common occurance.

Bill, a lighter flywheel is on my list of possible future mods. How much of a problem is this stumbling likely to be? Is the car actually prone to stalling (with a lighter flywheel)? Is there anything that can be done to correct the issue, short of a standalone ECU and tuning?

It's a rare thing and not a problem. Every guy I've done a clutch for (close to 20) has a lightweight FW and they love it. No issues

the stumbling/stalling is not caused by the flywheel. it's a common thing that occasionally happens when our ECU gets "confused". it should just go away within a few days.
