Can someone photoshop on side pipes? I can't comment on them because I can't imagine what they would look like. Also as XViper stated, sidepipes are not illegal. Technically however you are not supposed to alter any emmisions devise unless for direct replacement. This isn't really enforced (obviously) and if you have a problem you slip the guy at the inspection station a 20.

I think a side pipe would look cool on the s2k. Screw the muffler, run straight pipe

Several Vipers suffer from bubbling paint and discloration from the heat of the exhaust of the panels. I don't think our car would get hot enough to damage anything, or would it?

Would it burn your legs upon exiting the passengers side of the vehicle? My legs touch the car now to stand up. An extension would make it impossible to stand up.

It would look pretty weird with side pipes on just one side. Save the side pipes for a car with two heads.

Visiting an old thread, i think even if we were only to port it through one side, maybe dual outlet on that one side, flush ported through the panel, with canisters under the car, plenty of room i thought? no? I know aftermarket guy's have gone with one exaust because of numerous reasons but why then did honda go with dual, why not put dual through each side? my two cents
