In my opinion swaping this motor would be a shame. One of the best motor ever engineered. Why not give it chance and let it shine. Really put money into building it and see what it really can do. How many people here can say they have reached the full potential of a F20C motor. How many have tried?

But since we are on this subject and everyone are spectulating. I would suggest the Skyline GTS motor. RB25DET. The lay out seem similar and the Trans is RWD. Response anyone?

I agree on this. it is a beutiful engine. I rather not swap it but if I must, I'd try to fit RB26DETT engine to it. It's I6 rather than V6 therefore width is narrower which makes, I think, better fitment plus with TT, hmmm... lot of ponies can be packed. last time I checked on e-bay, engine was going for anywhere between $5000 to $8000. with the HP gains, definately, you'll need whole set of drivetrain from transmission, clutch, drive shaft, differential, and that shaft from differential to the wheel. a lot of work. oh! plus adjustment to gauge cluster.

If you serious light horsepower then a Mazda rotary (turbo of course) is one hot ticket. But don't ask me how to stuff one under our hoods.

If I was swapping a motor into the S2000 it'd be a K20A motor (DC5 Integra Type R)...

guys are at 300 WHP NA here in America.

or, a supercharged RX-8 rotary.

I don't know about the rotary swap, the RX8, in typical RX fashion, didn't even make it through Sport Compact Magazine's road test without breaking!

I think the cls motor would be dumb because you are taking a step backwards. I have a 3.0 v6 and the cls is 3.2 but the highest i have ever seen one horsepower wise is like 400ish and to be honest the money you would spend would not be worth the outcome. If you want to swap you want to upgrade not downgrade ya know. I doubt its possible but if you got the money to swap just cram a supra motor in it or something that can make the power. Any way you look at it the motor isgoing to be a lot heavier. You guys have an awesome engine already all you need to do is build it where as me I am the one that should be looking to swap because the accord blows performance wise
