sounds like you need to adjust your valves

 

Hey Schwett, I just had my oil changed yesterday, and now there's no ticking. This kind of surprised me. My oil has never been dangerously low, I topped it off less than 200 miles ago (1.5 quarts in the first 5k miles). Perhaps more oil in the engine helps dampen valvetrain noise? Any of the mechanical experts care to weight in?
