Has anyone had this problem:

My car used to run fine, but not too long ago, when I hit the gas from 0-10 or whatnot, it takes a lot longer to accelerate, almost as if it wasn't getting power like normal. Any suggestions?

 

change your air filter? clutch? oil?

 

I've had similar feeling on lower speeds. I believe it is the clutch because the car would start to buck back and forth really strongly afterwards. Whats going on? This usually happens when I leave it in 1'st and take my foot off the accel.

 

i agree also map whack after that everything works fine

 

I just got an oil change about 3 weeks ago and it was like this before and after. I'm not sure on the air filter, and I know I haven't changed the clutch as my car just barely passed 12k miles. I guess I will have to try that Map Whack deal and hope that fixes it. Thanks.

 

Have you got your airfillter cover off? that will cause the car to be lagy..
Maybe try hitting the Map sensor too?
