Does it feel like there is a small bump/crunch after the main bump?

These are classic clutch drag symptoms. Clutch never fully releases. Billman listed the things that can cause this. All but one of them is so easy to do, its worth it to do them on a regular basis, to prevent problems, and worth it to try them all if you are having problems. Not even worth troubleshooting until you've tried them all. Just do them.

All except for the grease on the splines. You have to drop the trans for that!

This is why its so critical to get this right when clutch is serviced. Its all the hard parts of a clutch job just to grease if not enough or the wrong grease was used. This is one thing you really want to get right the first time...

I just had my clutch, PP, bearings replaced, I should have had them make sure to grease the spline. :/

I finally had a chance to watch the clutch free play adjustment video, I'm going to try that as soon as I get home. It feels as though the clutch is not fully disengaging for sure.

I have the same issue and have for a wile. Every once in a wile the trans will shift like butter into the next gear, but for 90% of the time all of them feel like they are fighting a bit to go in and I just push through the notch and the gear catches. Sometimes I will get a real bad 2nd gear grind out of no where, doesn't matter how much throttle I give it or at what rpm, just random. I hear a very slight rotational noise from trans when at idle clutch out and what sound sounds like quite a bit of buzzing from the trans when I let off in gear and feed back throttle. I think my main input shaft bearings are on their way out and trans is on barrowed time. Sounds a little worse then it is, but I am pretty hyper sensitive to what's going on. The symptoms are all there. There is nothing left to adjust, it just is what it is it seems. None of the 3 trans, either ap1 or ap2 i've run in this car over the years have all felt like they shifted into gear like butter, most of them felt notchy in one way or another, and would change daily or from one shift of the gear into the next, not ever shifting the same in the same day sometimes. Pretty dynamic transmission that way.

I went from slight/normal free play, to no rod free play as described in video and did nothing in my case to change the shifting issue.

Is the problem reduced after the car is all warmed up?

If you run it to 5K and shift quickly it might make a difference. Does for me.
I did the free play adjustment and it has made a difference in the general performance but I don't think it changed this notchy feeling.

Definitely shifting at a higher rpm , above 4K has help my noticyness along with all the other tricks , clean clutch fluid , trans flush , clutch rod adjustment , re greased shifter.. I think next up will be pulling the shifter back out & replacing the 2 plastic pivot peice's , but billman was exactly right , these transmissions need to be reved up to get smooth shifts.
