Try changing your clutch fluid first. Dirty fluid causes leaks, and if you replace with clean fluid, surprisingly this often cures the leak. Change all the flyid now with gravity bleed.

Then change the fluid in mc every other oil change to keep it clean. No need to change it all, just turkey baster out the old fluid, wipe clean, add new.

The clutch fluid was replaced last season. ~5k miles ago, I can replace it again, I'll try that.

The only thing I haven't been able to do is grease the transmission input shaft, which I'm willing to bet is the perpetrator, especially since all my S2000s have been high mileage. I drove a 24k mile club racer the other day and there was little to no notchiness at all, it was amazing.
Well, my ap1 had 8.5K miles on it when I bought it last summer and it has had a "catch" when shifting from second to third from day one. If I shift as described above I can avoid it.
