Default Soft top catching on rear window

Not sure if this is the best place. The top catches on the right (passenger) side every time the top goes down and remains stuck. Sounds like I'm going to break the window every time the top goes down because it is snapping behind that trim piece.

Should I trim down the black horizontal piece or is there a better fix?

I fix it every time I put the top back up, but it always gets stuck the next time the top goes down again.

Thanks. I figured that was the only way to fix it

Both sides are the same length. Can't be pushed over. Guess it is glued to the window.

I had the top bind so badly that the closure ripped a hole in the top. I'm off for warranty land.
