Default soft top conversion question about 4 bolts on fram

I bought a top with frame from an 04 and am trying to fit it on an 01. The top I received ends with two bars. On the frame I have on my car, the same two bars are bolted and welded onto two respective body panels which are removable. They seem to be a pain to get off and the only way to get them off seems to me to either dremel them or cut them off. ANyone else experience this problem?

I recently replaced my top/frame twice and then had to just suck it up and put the new Robbins top on the original frame (I have an 01 also). Reason being is the top/frames I was sent were both damaged and I already had everything apart.

Anyways, you shouldn't have to dremel anything to take out the frame. After you remove all the interior pieces (Including the roll hoops) you have the frame held in by about 5-6 gold bolts (12mm i think). There is also a gray cover panel held in by 5-6 10mm bolts. All you have to do is remove all the bolts and unplug the harness to the motor. The whole thing should just pull straight out.

I can answer any other questions you may have
