So the TOP is almost done, I riveted the the tension cables (but one is pretty bad, can't redo it because it pulled the metal, pic below

So here I am almost done with the material portion when i realized I have NO IDEA what to do with the edges of the soft top (they aren't tucked and stitched corners). I screw the front of the top into place with the metal bracket and screws but now what???

you need to thread the tension cable through the top itself. there should be a slot for it to go through.

the front area of the top also needs to fold in and attach to the metal frame's side

for the front corners, just use contact cement on the frame and the cloth to stick them together folded in.

It looks like your tension cables are on wrong. They appear upside down, meaning the left cable should be flipped over and on the other side of the car. Leaving that V portion of the cable sticking up is going to cut the top open.

I got that situation sorted out (kind of). The top is completely on, screwed, glued and locked down! I could really use some help getting the panels behind the roll bars situated. I dont even know where to start, Do i start with the large tray that the soft top rests on when down? Or do I put in the side plastic trays (with the drain etching)? Do i put in the roll hoops first? LOL HELP BILLMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know much about these panel installs, But i do know that i just did my fuel pump and the first thing i took off was the wide thing rectangular one that goes on the back towards trunk, then i took off the bottom panel that top sits on. So i would guess those are the last 2 to go on

The order is important or certain pieces won't fit then you need to uninstall and start over.
