I have 2001 s2k with 107,xxx miles on it and lately I have noticed that when I start my car up it drives smooth but now I have my check engine light on and it blinks constantly when I drive and also my oil light blinks too. Plus after i drive for a certain period of time and I turn off the car wont start back on unless I jumped it... someone help please

 

It sounds like you may have multiple issues.

Have you pulled the CEL codes?



DO NOT run your car with the oil light on. If it is in fact accurate, and you are low on oil, damage has most likely been done.

 

Please tell me you're trolling. A flashing CEL means that there is a significant misfire that is enough to cause damage to the Cat and Motor. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR! Also, an oil light that comes on at any point while driving is no good. You're almost guaranteed to have severe damage to your bearings. Where are you located? If you're in the Northeast, take it to Billman, if you happen to be somewhere in the South near Tennessee, bring it to me. Either way it sounds like you're going to need a rebuild, unless of course you're trolling....which in that case,

Let me tell you what I think it is: I think, if this isn't trolling, that the car has been driven by someone without any respect for it or its mechanicals, who has never checked the oil or likely even washed the car. It's probably hellaflush and bent to shit with ugly wheels and a destroyed top and/or paint. And you should probably, now that you got what you deserved, junk it... But that's just speculation on my part. Ymmv.
