Default spedo problem

so.. i recently purchased some staggered te37 and slapped em on. i'm currently on stock suspension right now.. they are 17x7.5 +40 and 17x9 +40. the last couple of days i've noticed when i roll on the free way (speeds around the 60-65mph range) my speedo doesn't know exactly how fast i'm going.. it will say 65 then jump down to like 54? in a matter of seconds.. i was like WTF. so i cruised at 3500 rpm in 6th gear and it said like 54 and then put it into Neutral and it jumped up to 60 61ish.. do the size of the wheels make a difference? or is somthing wrong with my speedo??

thanks

You have a short. Do you have a modifry speedo calibrator for gears? Or did the previous owner?
