specific prices have not been listed, specific pieces have not been listed, but I think if you do a search on the subject, you'll find a list of the components. I'm sure you are trying to build your own - suggestion - don't. Spend the extra dollars on someone who has done a few of them at least and knows turbos well.

You can buy all of the parts seperately for alot less than buying from Speedcraft, however what you get from Speedcraft is someone to talk to during the install, and all of the custom piping and exhaust. Their piping and welding work is *awesome*. Also, they have several parts that they have to fabricate, including the end tanks to the intercooler.

There is alot of work and research that goes in to it, and yeah, there is a mark up for that...

For a complete setup including 3" exhaust, Apex controller (almost necessary), boost controller, turbo timer (necessary) and install you're looking at around 9-10K.

The kit sales for $6200.00. We do recommend a V-AFC. But it is not nessacary that you buy top of the line gauges, Top of the line boost controller, and top of the line exhaust (APEXi N-1's). But we do recommend 3in exhaust. Please keep in mind that we have produced the highest horsepower and torque S2K in America.

If they sent you something by email why not reply to them in the email. Speedcraft currently does not sponsor this board and as such should not get free advertising of their products.

By this I mean the following.

If they are asking for input. (Market Research) but there was no mention of production and or cost to the members then they are free to post. The should be allowed to gauge interest in their product.

If a company is marketing a product that is in production then they should pay or get off the site.

Hope this explains it.

Why can you buy a kit for a Civic for under 4k but a kit for the S2k is well over 6k?

The same reason a Civic costs $16K and an S2000 costs $32K, supply and demand.
