Was it actually leaking or residual from prior bleeding?

It it's actually leaking, you may just need to torque it a touch more.

na actually leaking...

i cracked bleeder open, re torqued a tiny bit more and come back in this morning and bleed nipples were wet around the thread again... i havent even pushed the pedal since i cleaned it.

when i got home after the track day, the fluid had dripped all the way down the caliper...

i emailed nengun, where i bought them and told them... im waiting for a reply... im thinking some heat resistant thread sealant maybe....

just kinda bs.

Bleed nipples make the seal at the tapered end of the nipple vs bottom of the hole in the caliper body, it is a metal-to-metal seal.
The do not seal at the threads so you DO NOT use any type of sealant to get it right.
Maybe the seat (either side) got damaged by leftover cuttings that were flushed out by brake fluid and then crushed by the nipple (for example)
The Spoon calipers are alu?
Inspect the seats on the nipples and in the holes of the calipers, take it from there.
Maybe there is a tool to machine the seats, like a valve seat cutter, I donno?

Bleed them, then spray down/wash the caliper and bleeders and see if they fluid comes back. I have fluid that sits for some time after bleeding and coming up through the threads. Once I wash the car, it's gone though.

thanks for the reply blokes.

i contacted nengun (where i purchased) and they are contacting spoon.

i dont have my car atm but when i get it back i will pull all nipples out and inspect properly... maybe even get some wet and dry paper and clean up the nipple seat... i dont know yet... but ill sus it out asap when i get the car back....

pretty shit thing to see after like $1800AUS though. lol brakes work amazing, just not overly stoked about seeing brake fluid down the entire side of my caliper.

thanks again!!!!!

appreciated!

Same issue with stoptech BBK. Some fluid remains and will dribble down the caliper at track if you don't rinse the area after bleeding
