Spring Replacement
When changing springs is it possible to leave the springs loaded with the cars weight..remove the strut nut..and then raise the car and remove the system? Or do I need to leave the suspension loaded for removal...then decompress the spring and remove the strut nut. For reinstall can I use the cars weight to recompress the systems?

I'm not sure if you can do what you're asking, but I'm pretty sure you shouldn't. Spring compressors are available for rent at places like Autozone etc. for a couple bucks. Better off using the right tool imho.
I didn't use a spring compressor for my Rsr Ti2000 spring install. I just wrapped a towel around the spring and shock and took the top nut off. It wasn't as dangerous as some would make it out to be. But that's just my opinion. As far as compressing the shock for new spring install, I just got my big neighbor to push down on the top of the shock while i put the nut on. No problems so far after almost a year.
