Squeaking Rear on Decceleration
Alright, I searched for this problem, but it seems like most people were complaining about suspension or brakes.
I've had my CPO 2001 S2000 for about 7 months now. Everything started out great, but eventually I started hearing a clicking noise coming from the rear. This clicking escalated to a squeak. Now it's constant, almost every day. It always comes when I'm slowing down. Engine braking, coasting, regular braking. Basically any time I'm not accelerating. It speeds up and slows down in relation to the speed of the rotation of the wheels.
Now I read something here about the clicking being a precursor to vibration coming from the rear because of the CV joints? Something about wear inside them. Is this squeaking the next step on my way to having to replace them? I'm due for an oil change, so I was thinking of going into the dealer tomorrow and having them check it out for me while I'm there, but I always like to be prepared with information in those scenarios.
Please help.

Have you ever done anything with the rear diff fluid?
A CV going bad usually will show itself as a noticeable vibration upon moderate to hard acceleration, not as a squeak when slowing down. You could have wheel bearings on the way out.
