Default SS Brake line swap

So I decided to get myself a Goodridge SS brake line kit with my last set of So2's from the tire rack. It is time to change the brake fluid anyway. Looking for info about how hard a swap this is. I am moderately mechanically inclined, patient and will not attempt until time allows a whole day. never really worked on brake systems before. Any special brake bleeding tools or info? should I spring for a factory manual? Any fluids better than others. I mostly street drive with enthusiasm with a couple of auto-x and would like to do an occasional track day before to long. 03 model .
Thanks for any and all insight or threads I have not found

shouldnt be too hard. i'd go with some ATE blue DOT4 fluid. As for the brake bleeding procedure, according to the factory manual, the order goes: front driver, front passenger, rear passenger, rear driver.

Have any S2000 members had these issues?

Of all the things I've done to the car, this is the one I now thing was least useful. IMO, there's no particular reason to do this except for looks.

Thanks to all for the info. After this and finding some of the older threads on the subject seems like the change is not worth it. I have an 03 withe the stock lines throughout. Time to swap the fluid regardless but how about the flexible portions of the system, worth swapping them with fluid change. Low milage (under 30k) due to short Maine seasons and hectic life.

flexible portions of the system = lines

do the fluid flush and a good bleed! its less hasle than changing the lines with the same results!

how are the pads? maybe its time 2 replace them.

Not really, but if you call them that people will still get the sense of what you mean, so it's not that big of a deal. But technically, that's not correct. The flexible bits are the "hoses". The rigid bits are the "pipes". Together they are the "lines".
