Ok im almost got all my parts together doing a corolla-f20c swap, question is im in need of going standalone what system should i use. Im not going FI keeping it na, but sure if its worth spending 1600 for aem ems.

You can find AEM EMS on eBay for $1300-1400. Kpro for the s2k is $1795 + $300 for RSX sensors...so not cheaper and requires a lot more work.

I don't know of anyone using haltech e8 or megasuirt 3.0 on an s2k so you would be breaking new ground.

The only other stand-alone that I know has been used is Motec, but the cost is even higher than Kpro.

yea i just found my friend who has aem ems selling his , so i might just buy it from him for 800. And save all the headaches looking and researching.

Thanks a lot for the replies very much appreciated.

by the way hailtech has been done, but only with e8 i do know that much it was done on club4ag.com by user name Mr. John with a ae86 corolla with s2000 swap, but i spoke with him and he told me if i just wanted a plung and play unit im better of going with aem. Im sure he got more info if anyone is intrested.
